» San Dieguito Heritage Museum
The San Dieguito Heritage Museum collects, preserves and interprets the local history of Encinitas (including Cardiff, Olivenhain and Leucadia), Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe and Solana Beach. The time span covered by the museum's collection begins 10,000 years ago when the area was home to the local American Indian tribes of the Diegueno, Luiseno, and Kumeyaay, and their prehistoric ancestors.
