» Oceanside Harbor
A little bit of paradise, right at home. » Oceanside Pier
The Oceanside Pier is the sixth pier to be built and the fifth on at this location. The first pier was constructed in 1887 at the foot of Couts Street the Southern most street on The Strand. This is now Wisconsin Avenue. The ninteen hundred and sixty foot long pier is the longest Wood pier on the West Coast and a great place to view the waves and beach, walk, check out the surfers, fish, or watch fisherman and grab a bite at Ruby's Diner on the end of the pier. The pier is free to the public and is open yearround except during exceptioally large surf.

» Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base
The world's largest U.S. Marine Corps Amphibious Training Base is located in North Oceanside. It is considered a "recreational" paradise with its military community of over 36,000 spread over 125,000 acres. The camp is well recognized for its interest and effort toward ecology and the preservation of natural resources. With its three mountain ranges and varied geographical terrain, Camp Pendleton has earned its title as an "Ecological Oasis of Coastal California." Home of the First Marine Division, Camp Pendleton is situated on what was once a Spanish land grant called Rancho Santa Margarita y Las Flores. The area's natural beauty has been changed as little as possible, making Camp Pendleton a modern military base in the heart of a little piece of history.
» Guajome County Park
Guajome County Park offers its visitors a unique blend of history and outdoor experiences. At one end of the park stands an historic adobe ranch house built in the 1850s. From there the park stretches two miles westward and encompasses some of the most diverse habitats to be found in any county park. You'll enjoy opportunities to hike, picnic, ride horses, fish, and camp. Its mild climate and convenient location, 40 miles north of San Diego, make Guajome an ideal place to visit year round.
» Oceanside Museum of Art
Oceanside Museum of Art is a cultural jewel located in downtown Oceanside with a view of the Pacific Ocean and the historic Oceanside Pier.
The museum is housed in a classic Irving Gill designed building that represents the flavor of Southern California in the 1930s. Providing North San Diego County with a variety of programming that compliments its progressive exhibition schedule, OMA presents five provocative exhibits each year.

» California Surf Museum
The California Surf Museum presents standing displays of surfing equipment and photographs. Every six months it introduces a new feature exhibit highlighting one of the pioneering legends of the surfing world. The museum also retails surfing-related merchandise. over 20,000 visitors see the museum annually. We are closed Tuesday/ Wednesday and Holidays.
» Mission San Luis Rey
Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, located in Oceanside, California, is the eighteenth in a line of twenty-one California Missions. Founded on June 13, 1798 by Fr. Fermin de Lasuen and currently operated by the Franciscan Friars of California, the mission provides both guided and self-guided tours, a museum, gift shop, Franciscan Retreat Center, and Cemetery as well as various functions and events.
